- Practical: 3 tasks, 9 items in total, 20 minutes, pass at 60% or more. Both parts are required.
- Booking is done on the Prometric website.

Is Gino 1 Seibi free?
Yes. The first 3 papers are free, with furigana and translation. VIP unlocks the other 17 papers and the detailed explanations.
Are these the real exam questions?
No. They are original practice items written by ViMai for the scope and sample format JASPA publishes, with redrawn figures. The app does not copy JASPA papers.
How is this different from the Class 3 mechanic test?
Under the MLIT rules the (i) test is set at about the Class 3 (3級) level. The Class 3 test uses four-choice items; the (i) test uses ○× and two-choice practical items with furigana. A Class 3 pass also counts in place of this skills test.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen like an app.
